Meet The Team

Emma Scott
Officer of Innovation

  • I graduated from the University of Florida in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I was also elected to the Society of Phi Beta Kappa in Spring 2019 and became Green-Dot Training Certified in February 2021.
  • I joined Hearts for the Homeless during my freshman year of undergrad. I was then Director of Medical Information, Secretary, and Community Outreach Officer at my local chapter during my sophomore, junior, and senior years respectively. At the international level, I was Director of Innovation and am now the Officer of Innovation. I oversee the subdivisions of Mental Health, Government Projects, and Medical Education.
  • I have volunteered at a local homeless shelter since my freshman year of undergrad, and through this, I learned more about some of the barriers to healthcare faced by people who experience homelessness. I joined Hearts for the Homeless because I want to be a part of helping to address these barriers.
  • I am currently in the process of applying to medical school.
