Hearts for the Homeless Tampa was founded in 2017 by Elena Pham and Diana Rendon. As an aspiring physician and someone who did not grow up with much, Elena Pham absolutely fell in love with the mission of Hearts for the Homeless. When she was a part of the organization, many witnessed it grow and prosper as it helped many homeless people in the state of Florida. That is why she did not hesitate when asked if thought it would be possible to bring that same vision to Tampa. With the assistance of her friend Diana, the Tampa chapter was born and was the organization’s third chapter.
