Tori Lynn
Officer of Natural Disaster Response and Logistics
- Graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCF with a B.S. in Pre-Clinical Health Sciences in 2021.
- I joined Hearts for the Homeless Orlando as a Recruitment Director in 2018, then as Recruitment Officer for the 2019-2020 academic year. After that, I became a Presidential Director of Natural Disaster Response for H4H International. I now serve as the Officer of Natural Disaster Response and Logistics. I’ve led natural disaster responses in several cities, stockpiled supplies and resources, helped create the Telehealth protocol that is in use now, and led the development of the app, Resources, that allows the homeless community to find testing centers and vaccine sites in their region. I’ve absolutely cherished my experiences with Hearts for the Homeless and I’m excited to continue to see affect of our efforts.
- Having a passion for healthcare, I know that our most vulnerable communities are the most important to protect, but are unfortunately the most often neglected. I believe it is part of my civic duty to help strengthen these communities and this desire led me to Hearts for the Homeless.
- I’m currently a researcher at UT Southwestern’s pediatric neurology department. I’m in the process of applying to medical schools, in hopes of pursuing a career in this field and practicing bench to bedside.
