A few things worth knowing before you contact us, so your message lands with the right team the first time.
How quickly will someone reply?
Most enquiries are answered within a few days. Chapter correspondence is held to a 48-hour response standard internally, and the same expectation applies to messages that reach a department directly.
Is there a phone number?
No. Hearts for the Homeless International is run by student volunteers across twelve countries and several time zones, so we handle contact in writing. That way your message reaches whoever is best placed to answer it rather than whoever happens to be free.
Can I contact a chapter directly?
Yes, if you know which one. Our chapters page lists where they are. If you are trying to reach a chapter near you and cannot find it, send a message here and we will pass it on.
What should I include in my message?
Who you are, which university or organisation you are with, and what you are hoping to do. One paragraph is enough — you do not need to work out which department you need before you contact us. Routing it correctly is our job.
Do you accept press and partnership enquiries?
Yes. Press, media and partnership announcements go to the marketing team; you can contact them from their department page or through the form on this page.
I want to donate — where do I go?
Straight to the donation route above; no message needed. Questions about grants, tax documentation or where the money goes are handled by the finance and grants team.
